» Glam Roc Launches 21st June
On Sunday 21st June, a brand new party will be introduced to the capital's clubbing circuit called Glam Roc, a unique event that will merge three leading genres of music all under one roof.
THE VENUE
The party will take place at world famous venue Ministry of Sound, undoubtedly one of the best club venues on the planet, which combines high end, sophisticated décor with large scale clubbing due to its unsurpassed sound system and its reputation for having the best parties, with the best music, played by the best DJs.
THE MUSIC
Glam Roc will certainly meet the above criteria as it will invite the UK's most popular DJs on to its decks including radio jocks, celebrity DJs and leading DJ and producers. The three genres of music that will be played include UK Funky, a sound that has recently emerged as one of the hottest genres of music to come out of the UK; R&B, because let's face it, no other genre ignites a party atmosphere quite like it; and last but by no means least, Soulful House, a genre that will inject a significant feel good factor into the night.
THE PEOPLE
All of this will take place across four rooms. Firstly the main room that will feature a rotation of special guests alongside resident DJ Masterstepz, a DJ known for his ability to entice an up-for-it crowd with his mixing skills and choice of party perfect tracks. Guests will include Carlton Cole, Geeneus, Footloose (1xtra), Pioneer (Kiss), Vernon James, Crazy Cousinz, DJ B (1xra) and more.
Upstairs The Loft will be looked after courtesy of an all female DJ line up better known as Headphones and Heels made up glamour ladies Lauren Pope, Jackie Degg, Kelly Ackerman, Sam Cooke and Lisa Unique who will supply a mixture of R&B, House and Classics, as well as some sensational eye candy.
Two more rooms include the club's stunning VIP lounge that supplies panoramic views across the entire venue, whilst the back room will be dedicated to up and coming talent.
Glam Roc is set to be a guaranteed roadblock every Sunday night. It is for people who want the sophistication of a west-end venue, but with headline DJs and an upfront and diverse music policy. It is serious, sophisticated clubbing for the glamorous and fabulous.
