Sandra Bee is rapidly establishing herself as one of the most popular and exciting performers of her generation, in both the comedy and drama fields. She has already attracted huge attention and a wide fan base for her portrayal of “Petronella”, the dancehall queen who took the first series of BBC2's hit drama series “Brothers and Sisters” , by storm.

Sandra versatility came to the fore when she created the character of feisty teenager “Shaniqua” for a striking to-camera monologue piece in Crucial Films , “Windrush Still Here” , series. She also made a cameo appearance in the award wining drama, “Baby Father” , on BBC1; Co-starring as Jack Dee's side kick , “Wendy” , in ITV's, “Tunnel of Love” ,, and also in top sitcom , “My Family” , on BBC1.

Sandra made her debut to the big screen in “Miramax” top thriller , “Derailed” ,, alongside , Jennifer Aniston, and ,Clive Owen,.

Theatre shows include: , “High Heel Parrot Fish” ,, Theatre Royal (Stratford East), where she played Leandra a woman distraught, with revenge, when her flamboyant husband left her for a man (Directed by Paulette Randall). Playing the dual roles of Princess and Sorceress in New Peckham Variety Theatre's , “The Snow Queen” , demonstrated both her commitment to supporting community theatre and also her rapport with young audiences whilst, in addition to her TV popularity, with her gift for physical comedy, drawing on her background as a trained dancer. Performing in , “Sandra Bee and Friends” ,at Stratford Town Hall and , “Sandra Bee's Luving” ,for “Upfront Comedy” at The Clock Tower.

Sandra made her debut West End performance as “Shenzi” the hyena in, “Disney's” award winning musical , “The Lion King”. ,

Her character role as Joyce, playing alongside Sarah Parish (,Cutting It,) and Sarah Lancaster in BBC's film , “Sex and the City” ,, and soon to be seen alongside Timothy Spall in the haunting ITV drama ,GUNRUSH, in 2009.

Sandra Bee will be appearing in her One Woman show A Night to Remember at Rich Mix on Friday 19th June.
