Janis Kay - ‘Feelings Getting Strong'

Having recently launched her own record label 'Chartwell Records', Janis Kay will kick start her solo career by releasing debut single ‘Feelings Getting Strong' on April 9th.

The track is sure to be a hit on summer dance floors of the 'funky house' persuasion from the UK to Ibiza and far beyond thanks to the tracks strong vocals, funky house grooves , and hazy happy vibes.

The track is accompanied by a number of mixes by the likes of Ripper, Exhibit, and Ika, who together span a wider variety of genres , taking the track to more stripped down, and tougher regions of house and garage.

In March Janis also kicks off her schools and club tour throughout the UK and will also be touring Europe and the states to promote the single later in the year.

Janis Kay is the vocalist, songwriter, and executive producer on all her material, writing catchy R&B, hip hop, dance and disco house, as well as commercial pop. Janis has been performing since the early 90's and has worked on various hits with top producers like Martin Ten-Velden. She has also worked with Stephen Budd Management, producers Soul Power (Whitney Houston and Mary J Blige), and Erick Eriksson.

Janis was formerly managed by ex-Wham manager Simon Napier-Bell. During this time she went on a huge tour of the UK, performing at nightclubs, schools and radio road shows for stations such as Heart 1.06FM, Nickelodeon TV, and events like Gay Pride with other major pop acts. Janis has also been commissioned to write songs for a major feature film set to be released in August 2010!
