Black International Film Festival 2010
The BIF Festival celebrates UK and worldwide filmmaking created by, featuring talent from, or dealing with issues affecting people of colour. With a call for entry submissions open until September 24th, 2010 – and a multitude of possible, praiseworthy nominees, based on the past year's efforts – this year is set to go down as a huge success and as an event worthy of your attention.
Including awards for shorts, music videos, television dramas, feature films and more, the ceremony has awarded music videos from likes of Donaeo and Bashy, and has recognized the acting talents of Eastenders' Tiana Benjamin – to name a few. It will be exciting to see what other young and emerging talent we will see when this year's festival takes place from October 25th until the 31st. Keep an eye out for further developments on this event.
