There have been new reports that actor Morgan Freeman’s divorce to his estranged will come through soon, leaving him free to marry his step-granddaughter.

Yes, you read that correctly! Freeman, 72, was having a ten-year affair with his first wife’s granddaughter, E’dena Miles, unbeknown to his second wife Mryna. This would mean that E’dena was just seventeen years old at the time the affair started.

Freeman and his second wife actually helped to raise E’dena as a child, which must have added to the drama, naturally resulting in Mryna filing for divorce.

According to family friends, E’dena is keen to become the third ‘Mrs Freeman’. Freeman has never commented on the situation which first arose back in 2009.

Elsewhere, Freeman has also received backlash for deeming Black History Month as ‘ridiculous’. However, it is thought that the veteran actor didn’t mean it in a negative way, but believes the Black History should be celebrated all year and not be allocated a month in which to be remembered.
