Vanessa Williams has won a part in a new pilot show to be shown in the US.
The award winning actress and singer will star in 666 Park Avenue, a supernatural drama to be shown on ABC. She will play Olivia, the frosty wife of the owner of the building in which the show will be based.
The star can currently be seen on our screens in Desperate Housewives, but with the popular series coming to an end, the cast members are free to line up future work.
