Stars Lead The Way
2010 is proving to be a year for singing artists to come together and use their musical talent to help raise funds for various charities around the globe.
2006 X Factor winner Leona Lewis was snapped recording her contribution to Simon Cowell's Help Haiti charity single, "Everybody Hurts".
The star-studded British single, which is a cover of the R.E.M.'s 1993 ballad aims to raise money for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
However Senegalese megastar, Akon recently launched his own charity single ‘Oh Africa,” which aims to help underprivileged African youth.
The African singer invited 16 aspiring musicians from around the world to take part. The single is collaboration between Akon, U.S. singer Keri Hilson and the South African Soweto Gospel Choir.
