Chantel Daniel - Chantel Diamond or Diamond Smiles

Chantel Daniel, now dubbed 'Chantel Diamond' or 'Diamond Smiles' by her friends, has taken the modelling world almost by surprise. Studying as a trainee accountant, this time last year, she had no idea that she would be crowned as last year's pageant princess in Miss Black Britain.
 
She says: "If anything, I give all glory to God above and to my family and friends for giving me the power to change my mind about my life! What I have achieved in the space of a few months has been near phenomenal for me and I know it can only get better..."
 
It was in December 2008 that Chantel took on her first fashion show, with guidance from Tre Danso of ELook Models, wowing the crowd with her curves, leading onto a feature in Britain's most read Black newspaper, The Voice.
 
Since then, she has taken part in a number of showcases, events and appeared in national publications all in the aid of raising her profile, which she says will surely benefit her local community and beyond. Quoted from a local newspaper, she states: "I am looking into ideas for community development, to engage the younger generation in London to become active members of society."
 
More recently, Miss St Lucia UK have taken interest in her efforts and have asked her to assist them in their bids for Miss World!
 
With such an inspiring attitude for one so young, not to mention gorgeous! she has my vote of confidence; what about you?
