Apple Bottoms and Sassy Pandez - The sexiest DJ in the world

APPLE BOTTOMS womenswear range is modelled here by Sassy Pandez, the official European face of Apple Bottoms.

Sassy Pandez, the international DJ, has just been announced as the new face for the 2010 campaign for the "Apple Bottoms" clothing label, owned by US rapper Nelly. Sassy DJed at the launch party for "Apple Bottoms" and was the only DJ at the event. After playing a marathon five hour set Sassy was described by Apple Bottoms as "not only the Sexiest DJ in the World, but also the best", and this landed her the role as the official DJ for "Apple Bottoms" parties. Sassy Pandez started DJing at seven years old and is not phased when she is described as being "The Sexiest DJ in the World". Sassy says that her focus is more on the music, and always has been.

Sassy Pandez is an international name and has DJed for Jay Z, Beyonce, Fat Joe, Eminem, P Diddy, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Fashion TV, MTV, Minis¬try of Sound, Pacha, and VIP Room. Sassy plays at high profile parties all over the world, with events in New York, Houston, Canada, Dubai, Bahrain, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, France, Greece, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Ibiza, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Turkey, South Africa, Ukraine, Indonesia, Ireland, and all over the UK.

Apple Bottoms is the womens clothing and accessories range owned by US urban star Nelly and immortalised in the Flo-Rida hit “Low” (“Shorty wore those Apple Bottoms jeans, boots with the fur...”). Its fans include Fergie and Oprah and numerous other celebrities. Initially a denim label, Apple Bottoms' first batch of jeans sold out in two weeks, and its signature apple pocket now extends past denim on to a variety of fashion items, including footwear, handbags, sunglasses and children’s clothing. Its first fragrance has just launched in the US and will be here in the UK at the end of the summer.  

Apple Bottoms ‘celebrates women in all their natural beauty’ and calls it its ‘supreme mission’ to liberate the natural curves of a woman’s body. According to Nelly, a woman shouldn’t try to fit into the clothes, the clothes should fit the woman. ‘The concept for Apple Bottoms was influenced by the women in my life.’ he admits. ‘I constantly heard frustrated stories about denim not fitting. The name Apple Bottoms popped into my head because it’s synonymous with curves, so I decided to roll with it.’

The signature apple pocket now extends past denim on to a variety of fashion items, including footwear, handbags, sunglasses and children’s clothing. Its first fragrance has just launched in the US and will be here for summer 2010.
