Michael Jackson's Death Leads To Criminal Investigation

Less than a week after his devastating death, Michael Jackson's death is being investigated by police, says his family's lawyer Brian Oxman.

The King Of Pop, 50, passed away after a suspected heart attack on Thursday.
Oxman says: “I can tell you, and this is a new development, there is a criminal investigation taking place by the Los Angeles Police Department. That is the case. They have told the family.

“What they are going to do, who they are going to talk to and what is going to happen, I don't know. That is up to them. I don't want to make any accusations as to any particular people.

“I want to wait till the toxicology tests are completed and let the authorities do their thing. Then we will find out.”

Michael's personal physician Conrad Murray, 51, was questioned for three hours by police at the weekend. The 51-year-old is not being treated as a suspect.

An insider reports: “Detectives assigned to Robbery And Homicide Division met with him and conducted an extensive interview.

“Dr Murray was co-operative and provided information which will aid the investigation.'

In other related news, it has been reported that the Jackson family plan to take Michael's body to his Neverland ranch where it will go on public view before a burial.
