» Chilli and Pepa Land Dating Reality Shows
Salt-N-Pepa star Sandra Denton and TLC's Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas have landed their own reality US TV shows.
The saucy-sounding girl group pioneers will search for love on a rival VH1 dating series, which will debut next year.
Both single mums have been unlucky in love - Push It star Denton divorced Anthony 'Treach' Criss in 2001 and Thomas enjoyed long-tem relationships with Usher and producer Dallas Austin.
This follows a trend of urban music females appearing in their own TV shows – former member of 90's RnB girl group Xscape Tameka ‘Tiny' Cottle and gal pal Antonia ‘Toya' Carter debuted their own reality TV series in the US this week – the show, airing on BET, follows the everyday lives of the pair as they deal with the trials of family, friends and everyday lives. Tiny is the long-term partner of T.I. – who is currently serving a jail term for possession of firearms and Toya is the former wife of rapper Lil' Wayne – the pair have a daughter together - Reginae Carter, 10.
