Stars Unite to Record Haiti Fund Single
A host of the biggest names in music have teamed up to re-create popular hit We Are The World to raise money for Haiti.
Kanye West, Usher, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Pink and Celine Dion are among stars who hit the studio this week to record parts for the single.
The song was originally released by producer Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson in 1985 for the famine in Africa.
The original version featured parts from veterans such as Lionel Richie, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner and Bruce Springsteen.
The new version of the song will also include vocals from Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus and Celine Dion.
Producer Red One – famed for his work with Lady GaGa and The Sugababes - is producing the track- which will debut on US TV on February 12.
