Alicia Keys Splits with Manager
Alicia Keys has parted ways with her manager of more than ten years so she can have more control over her career.
Jeff Robinson has managed the Un-Thinkable singer‘s career since she hit the big time in 2001 and worked with her before that in the earlier stages of her music career. But, now the two have ended their professional relationship by "mutual agreement".
The pregnant star will still consult Robinson on her future albums, but will now personally handle more important decisions on touring, music licensing, and film and TV deals.
A statement reads: "This decision will allow Alicia more control over all aspects of her career from singing and songwriting, to leading many business ventures and social causes. (The decision was) mutually agreed upon and amicable."
