Lil Wayne Owes $1 Million in Taxes
For a guy who is on lockdown, Lil’ Wayne seems to be having a lot of trouble keeping his name out of the celeb headlines. This week the MC is said to be in trouble with his taxes. Apparently, he owes $1.13 million to the US tax man.
US reports say that the US Internal Revenue Service have officially ordered the 27-year-old to pay the amount in Florida court documents.
The costs apparently date back from 2004, 2005 and 2007. He previously settled a $977,000 bill in 2008.
The Cash Money Millionaire (!) is currently in Rikers Island prison in New York and is expected to be released in November this year. He has been serving a year-long sentence for possession of a gun and was also recently given three years probation on drugs charges.
