T.I: Prison Took Me Off A Positive Path
T.I has said that going to prison may have had a negative effect on his life in the long run.
The 29-year-old spent just under a year behind bars for federal weapons charges, he was released in March this year and got straight to work on recording new material for his album and now he has spoken out on how much of an impact his time in lock-up had on him.
He told Complex Magazine: "It did make me worse in a sense, putting me in prison took me off a positive path a little bit and now I'm working to get back on that path, or at least back on the path to the extent that I was before I went in.
"I lost a little bit of my positive focus during that period of incarceration. Being in that environment and having those daily surroundings, it's going to affect you.”
