New ODB Movie
Wu-Tang Clan members will play themselves in the forthcoming Ol Dirty Bastard film.
The New York Daily News reports that the producers of the forthcoming film about the late Wu-Tang Clan member Ol Dirty Bastard are planning on casting the band.
They quote the actor playing ODB, Michael K Williams, best known as Omar from The Wire, that the producers 'have no desire to cast any actors as the Wu-Tang.' Therefore, the rap superstars will have to appear as themselves. 'We need all hands on deck,' he said.
The film is provisionally titled 'Dirty White Boy' and centres around the relationship between ODB and the VH1 intern who became his manager Jarred Wesifeld.
