The NY Post reports that in the book, Wyclef says Lauryn tricked him into believing he fathered her first-born son, whose actual father is Rohan Marley, son of Bob Marley. "In that moment something died between us," Jean writes. "I was married and Lauryn and I were having an affair, but she led me to believe that the baby was mine, and I couldn't forgive that."
The Fugees disbanded in 1997, and according to Wycelf, it was her deceit that pushed the group’s demise. "She could no longer be my muse," he reveals. "Our love spell was broken."
