A Different Me
As with every other Keyshia Cole project, the finishing product has been dealt with a highly respectable calibre. Keyshia is an artist with such a magnificent appeal that to dislike is a task hard to find. The efforts made by this female artist alongside the power within her voice are enough to not only hear the emotion and passion driven into her music, but to feel it also.
These were my favourites from the album:
You Complete Me - Keyshia's latest single, this track is in current circulation. A heartfelt declaration of the love felt from a man and its reciprocation. I find this is a nice change to the usual heartbroken or emotional triumphant lyrics that have come to be Keyshia's trademark, showing a grand level of maturity. The deliverance and vocal emotion within this track is strong enough to awaken any feelings that have been forsaken for a partner. Keyshia can encourage the love felt within as strongly as she can the hate.
Trust (with Monica) - Focusing on one of the very fundamental points within building a foundation for a healthy relationship, this collaboration with Monica provides a good insight into what can be felt when achieved. Some may view it as a slightly cheesy reflection of the female mentor practice, but I appreciated Monica's contribution to the track feeling it pleasantly represented Monica's experience within the industry.
Beautiful Music - Dancing music delivered with a funkalicious vibe encouraging any foot to tap and head to nod. Its lyrical content gives a good indication of what is really depicted within the title, but the vibe allows it to remain appealing leaving much left to the imagination with only a hint of sultriness. This is also a point built into the lyrical content, showing another element of maturity within her profession. This track is exactly as titled, Beautiful Music.
